International Conference 3D Sebenico

This conference brought together architects, historians, and archaeologists from Italy and Croatia to explore and promote the fortified heritage of Šibenik. Experts from Italy conducted field research at St. John’s Fortress, documenting fortifications in Šibenik and its surroundings.

Key topics included the history and development of Šibenik’s fortifications, along with methods for documenting, preserving, and valuing these historic sites. Renowned Croatian researchers also contributed their expertise during the final days of the conference.

SUSTAIN4SENIORS HUB

Cultural managers from Lithuania, Romania, and Croatia gathered at St. John’s Fortress for a brainstorming event focused on innovative programs for seniors. The initiative explored ways to connect cultural heritage with sustainability.

This four-day event was part of the Erasmus+ program, aimed at developing new activities for the active participation of older generations. The goal was to increase inclusion and raise awareness of the relationship between cultural heritage and sustainability.

UPLIFT Academy

The Uplift Academy, organized by Mastercard and Algebra, welcomed small business owners and entrepreneurs to St. John’s Fortress. This prestigious program helps participants learn how to develop and present their business ideas, improve existing services, and refine their business vision.

Attendees engaged in valuable workshops, expanded their professional networks, and enjoyed a dynamic mix of education, networking, and fun—all within the inspiring setting of Šibenik’s largest fortress.
