ABOUT CAMPUS
The educational campus is situated below the so-called pliers, the northern part of the fortress. The campus is equipped with interactive classrooms, bedrooms, and conference rooms.
The campus is intended for student groups, young experts and artists who are coming to Šibenik for study visits or other educational purposes. This kind of space will also contribute to the development of educational tourism.
With modern infrastructure housed within a medieval fortress, it offers an inspiring environment for work, learning, and an unforgettable experience in the heart of the cultural and creative industries.

Accommodation Units
Modern rooms with private bathrooms and access to an open atrium, bathed in natural sunlight, provide the perfect space for overnight stays and relaxation between sessions.
Conference & Workshop Halls
Three multimedia halls are equipped with the latest technology to support interactive learning programs. Fully modular, they can be tailored to suit any event—lectures, workshops, or conferences.
Additional Spaces
All rooms open into a shared atrium, offering a relaxing space for socializing. The campus also includes a dining area, lounge, and kitchenette, ensuring a comfortable stay.
Events Hosted at the Campus
International Conference 3D Sebenico
This conference brought together architects, historians, and archaeologists from Italy and Croatia to explore and promote the fortified heritage of Šibenik. Experts from Italy conducted field research at St. John’s Fortress, documenting fortifications in Šibenik and its surroundings.
Key topics included the history and development of Šibenik’s fortifications, along with methods for documenting, preserving, and valuing these historic sites. Renowned Croatian researchers also contributed their expertise during the final days of the conference.
SUSTAIN4SENIORS HUB
Cultural managers from Lithuania, Romania, and Croatia gathered at St. John’s Fortress for a brainstorming event focused on innovative programs for seniors. The initiative explored ways to connect cultural heritage with sustainability.
This four-day event was part of the Erasmus+ program, aimed at developing new activities for the active participation of older generations. The goal was to increase inclusion and raise awareness of the relationship between cultural heritage and sustainability.
UPLIFT Academy
The Uplift Academy, organized by Mastercard and Algebra, welcomed small business owners and entrepreneurs to St. John’s Fortress. This prestigious program helps participants learn how to develop and present their business ideas, improve existing services, and refine their business vision.
Attendees engaged in valuable workshops, expanded their professional networks, and enjoyed a dynamic mix of education, networking, and fun—all within the inspiring setting of Šibenik’s largest fortress.
