Daimler AG has chosen Croatia as the destination for the premiere of its new Mercedes-Benz A-Class. The presentation will be accompanied by renowned journalists and experts from the automotive industry – Šibenik, i.e. the Barone Fortress will be spectacular finish point of the trial run on the Adriatic coast. Event will be accompanied by journalists who, apart from topics from the automotive industry, cover the topics of tourism and travel also, which will contribute to the visibility of the fortresses and the promotion of Šibenik as a destination, and the Middle Dalmatia immediately, on a world level.
''We are honoured by the fact that our fortress was selected by a established international company like Daimler AG as a representative place to present the results of their long-term work. We are pleased that Šibenik’s fortresses are recognized not only as a tourist attraction, but also as an excellent location for business events like this and we hope that there will be more events in the future", said Gorana Barišić-Bačelić, director of the Public Institution Fortress of Culture Šibenik .
Through sixteen days, more than 400 journalists from around the world will visit Barone Fortress, therefore fortress will be open for the public with customized working hours. On this weekend April 7th and 8th , the fortress will be closed for daily visits due to the preparation of the event itself.
During the event, from 9th to 24th April, on weekdays (Mondays to Fridays) visitors can visit the Barone Fortress from 9 AM to 2 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM. On weekends the fortress will be open according to regular working hours, from 9 AM to 8 PM.
On Wednesday, April 25th, the fortress will be closed for the public and from Thursday, April 26th, it will be open within regular working hours, from 9 AM to 8 PM.
During this period, St. Michael’s Fortress will be open for daily visits from 9 AM to 8 PM each day, and daily tickets will be available by the special discounted prices.
