This year's Side B, Barone Fortress' music program, will be closed by one of the most interesting bands in Šibenik – The Fogsellers. On Monday, September 16th at 9 PM, they will perform a program Sono Koloro through which they connect their music with the visual projections of the artist whom they affectionately call The Sorceress of Visuals, Tetraparalelopiped.
In Esperanto, a language that was supposed to become universal much like the music itself, Sono Koloro means „the sounds of colors“. Fikcio Monger (Mirko Rak) stands behind this project with his band. It was developed from an idea of combining music with visual effects into a more wholesome experience of music and projections.
„We decided to emphasize the colors and projections for Sono Koloro, while music will be the medium which eases the viewers into enjoying themselves in a waterfall of colors and projections that await us“, announced Mirko Rak. Premiered in 2016 at Croatian National Theatre, and after performances in Croatia and the region, the program is coming back to town, and to no more or less – a unique environment of fortress Barone.
Often called an electro-fusion band, Fogsellers' music surpasses the electronic base and contains influences and mixtures of diverse music genres that they skillfully and cleverly compose as a whole, as proved with their debutante achievement Smooth Simplicity. The album won over music critics in 2017, which was confirmed by two successive nominations for the award Ambasador in the category of best electronic band.
Performing the program Sono Koloro The Fogsellers offer a complete audiovisual experience. This time above the town, under the open sky, at the very beginning of September week. Entrance is free to visitors with a valid daily ticket.
