After the successful first edition of the manifestation The Night of Fortresses held in 2022 which has connected and promoted programs on 45 fortifications in three states, Fortress of Culture is proud to announce the second edition which will be held on May 5th 2023. The applications for the participants are open from today.
The applications are open for all European subjects who manage various fortifications and are interested in organizing programs for visitors. The program can include exhibitions, lectures, workshops, concerts, dance performances, plays, guided tours, open-door days etc.

The Night of the Fortresses was initiated by The Fortress of Šibenik as part of the FORTITUDE project financed by the program Interreg IPA CBC Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro and the idea is the manifestation is held annually, while the goal of the project is to enrich tourist offers and to improve the attractiveness of the fortresses by implementing additional content.
