Global music icon Róisín Murphy will perform with her band at St. Michael’s Fortress in Šibenik on August 7 as part of Ljetno Yammatovo fueled by Cockta! Yammatovo, the renowned music event organized by Zagreb-based radio station Yammat FM, returns in its summer edition in collaboration with the Fortress of Culture Šibenik for the third time at this iconic venue.
Irish artist Róisín Murphy first rose to international fame as one half of the British-Irish electronic duo Moloko. After the duo split, this eclectic, eccentric, and versatile performer launched an exceptionally successful solo career, further cementing her star status with each new album. She debuted with Ruby Blue in 2005, and confirmed her status as a one-of-a-kind artist with her sixth solo album Hit Parade in 2023—hailed by critics as the standout album of her career.
Róisín is passionate about fashion, architecture, design, and all things beautiful. Her live performances are particularly striking—not just musical events but full-blown visual spectacles. She commands the stage with power and confidence, constantly reinventing herself in outfits that only she could pull off.
She already won over the Šibenik audience with spectacular shows at St. Michael’s Fortress in 2018 and at the New Year’s Eve celebration in 2023. After being forced to cancel last year’s performance, fans will now have a fresh chance to experience Róisín live this August.
The concert is supported by Cockta and media-sponsored by Yammat FM!
