Fortress of Culture Šibenik yesterday announced a public procurement for digital and virtual production and post-production services, which is being implemented as part of the EMOUNDERGROUNDS project. The total estimated value is HRK 411.240,00 net. Upon completion of the procedure, the selected bidder will develop VR content that visitors will be able to use next year at the St. Michael's and St. John's Fortresses.
The implementation of the EMOUNDERGROUNDS project (EMOtional technologies for the cultural heritage valorization within the UNDERGROUNDS cross border) is co-financed from the Interreg ADRION transnational cooperation program, in the amount of 85% of the value.
The total project's value is 2.599.994,86 euros, while the budget of the Fortress of Culture is slightly less than 2 million kunas (264,387.78 euros). The implementation of VR technology for the purpose of storytelling at Šibenik fortresses - which includes the development of content and procurement of equipment - is the most significant investment within the project.
