This year's edition of Conventa, the largest regional congress of the creative industry, which is traditionally held live in Ljubljana, has been postponed and will be held from 25 to 26 August 2021. The organizers have decided that the original date (January 20th -21st 2021) will serve as an opportunity to organize a two-day online educational event - Conventa Trend Bar New Europe, in which Fortress of Culture also participates in competition for the Conventa Best Event Award 2020, for the organization of the music festival Let's Rock!.
The two-day online event is held under the slogan Regional Knowledge For Global Re:Start, a program that inspires discussion with creative individuals from the region. Attendees will learn how to sell without selling, how to organize online team building, how to recover in an industry where activities are literally lagging behind due to epidemiological situations. At the same time, the event will be a platform for mutual problem solving and exchange of ideas. The speakers are regional experts whose source of inspiration and knowledge will help those gathered to see the new pandemic reality and try to overcome it together. CONVENTA BEST EVENT AWARD 2020
Last year was challenging for everyone in creative and event industries. Still, most saw it as a time of rapid adaptation and new opportunities, and have taken them as an advantage in the best possible way - by organizing events despite pandemic. Therefore, on Thursday, January 20th 2021, after two webinars "How?", the Conventa organizers will announce the winners of best event of the 2020, according to the choice of the audience. After the presentations of the registered projects, which are scheduled from 4:30 to 6 PM within the Conventa Trend bar, the audience will decide on the winner by online voting.
