On second revitalized fortress in Šibenik (Barone); on Holy Saturday, shortly before Easter, a rich workshop program for the youngest will be held, but even somewhat older ones will find fun on fortress Barone!
Starting from 9 a.m., Easter egg (almost 2m high) which is being finished in The Wells room by well-known designer from Šibenik, Danijel Hrg, is going to be decorated. Except for the fact that the visitors of Barone fortress can participate in the decoration of the biggest Easter egg in town, at 11 a.m. One on one- race with spoon and eggs will start, and at 12 h Find me- search for chocolate eggs hidden on Barone fortress is on the schedule. The winners will receive sweet rewards, and those less fortunate will comfort themselves with an offer of gastro center of Barone fortress.
A giant Easter egg ,decorated by the hands of the citizens,(an idea created in cooperation with The Tourist board of town Šibenik) will be exposed on Easter Monday on Pavao Šubić Square I, on which a very rich program of traditional Easter breakfast will start at 11 a.m.
Program of Holy Saturday on Barone fortress:
- 9 till 17 h: decoration of the biggest Easter egg in town
- 11 a.m.: One on one- race with eggs
- 12 h: Find me – search for hidden chocolate eggs
For all the friends of Šibenik fortresses, now and in the future, the prices of the annual membership tickets stay 50 kn (unlimited entry on both revitalized fortresses, St Michael fortress and Barone fortress). Also, per price of 110 kn, which is the price of the family membership ticket, the families with all the children under the age of 18 can join and enjoy the magic of renovated fortresses of Šibenik.
