Less than a month remains until the end of the year 2023, which Šibenik bids farewell to with the three-day 321 FEST! With announced performances by Parov Stelar and Stereo MC's for the New Year's weekend on the stage near the Šibenik Cathedral, and on the second festival location in the Robert Visiani Park, Šibenik residents and guests will also enjoy concerts featuring BluVinil, Psihomodo Pop, and many more!
321 FEST IN THE PARK
On Friday, December 29th, the Šibenik band BluVinil, which has been setting stages ablaze with its performances across Croatia since its debut, will perform on the stage in the Park! DJ MichaelX, eleven-year-old Mihael Pavić, who wowed everyone with his DJ set at last year's Christmas fair Adventura, will warm up the audience and once again bask in the spotlight!
On Saturday, December 30th, live music begins as early as noon when Dani Sun & The Moonshines take the stage in the Park! The versatile musician Dani Sun has assembled the top-notch band Moonshines, creating a unique dance sound together. Saturday night in the Park is spent with the sounds of Disco Gimnazija, the soundtrack of the first outings for generations of Šibenik residents!
On the last day of the year, the daytime concert in the Park will be opened by the local cover band Teke Yeke as a prelude to Psihomodo Pop, who take over the stage in the evening! There is no doubt that the unique lead singer Davor Gobac will bid farewell to the old year in his distinctive style - a guaranteed party!
321 FEST BY THE ST. JAMES CATHEDRAL
Šibenik Singing Society Kolo and Šibenik Folk Orchestra (Šibenska narodna lgazba) are an indispensable part of the city's musical identity, and they will perform together in front of St. James's Cathedral on Friday, December 29th. The concert, titled "Jingle Bell Rock," is their gift to fellow citizens and guests as the year comes to an end, all in celebration of 120 years since their first joint performance!
On Saturday, December 30th, the main star on the stage in front of the cathedral, where Roisin Murphy performed last year, is the outstanding DJ Parov Stelar, who comes to Šibenik accompanied by brilliant musicians. Stelar is known for his exciting blend of electronic music and traditional swing with jazz, delivering a special energy to the audience through his combination of tradition and modern rhythm. Performances at Glastonbury, Coachella, or Lollapalooza, as well as collaborations with music stars like Lana Del Rey, Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, repeatedly confirm Stelar's reputation as a global star! El Siciliano, his official DJ on tours, will warm up the audience before Stelar's performance, and the night will end with DJ Antonio Zuzu.
Šibenik enters the New Year with one of the longest-standing hip-hop dance electronic acts - Stereo MC's, comprised of Rob Birch and Nick Hallam.
We know for sure that the audience cannot resist the dance beats of their hits like "Connected," "Step It Up," "Deep Down and Dirty," or "We Belong in This World Together!" DJ Felver, who has been a sought-after performer for over 25 years, will take care of the warm-up and after-party on New Year's night in front of the cathedral.
