Pato Nuño Trio & Friends Coming to Barone Jazz Festival in June!
Nuño is a guitarist, versatile composer, and improviser from Chile, known for his use of a wide range of genres including jazz, blues, rock, electronica, and classical music. Pato's compositions exhibit an extraordinary ability to evoke emotions and tell stories through music, reflecting a deep understanding of various musical traditions and demonstrating technical skill on the guitar.
With a career spanning almost 15 years, Pato Nuño has established himself as a prolific musical artist. He has released 8 albums, both as a solo artist and collaborator, and throughout his musical journey in Chile and New Zealand, Nuño often collaborates with esteemed artists such as Summertime Quartet, Rafart, Jpass Filter, Intracluster Band, and many others.
For this special occasion at Barone Fortress, which will include the premiere of Pato's latest album 'Villaseca' as well as a review of his past works, Nuño will be joined by Daniela Lukšić on bass guitar and Pavle Golubić on drums.
PATO NUÑO TRIO
Pavle Golubić began studying percussion at the Academy of Music at the University of Zagreb and continued his training at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen in Belgium. Pavle has collaborated on numerous projects, with the most notable being his own quartet, which opened the Barone Jazz Festival in 2022.
Daniela Lukšić graduated in classical guitar from the Catholic University of Chile. She has performed as an electric bassist in duos, trios, quartets, and larger bands, mainly in blues, jazz, and electronic projects, in both Chile and New Zealand. In recent years, she has recorded bass for Pato Nuño's album 'En las Afueras' and was a prominent member of the Blue Note Quartet (Chile).

From June until late summer, the stage at Barone Fortress will feature award-winning Croatian and international jazz musicians, offering evenings of top-notch performances for jazz enthusiasts.
