Nina Romić Trio
July at Barone Jazz Festival opens with the brilliant singer-songwriter from Zagreb, Nina Romić. Nina's voice captivates and envelops with emotion, and her concerts, accompanied by top-notch musicians, are a journey into the core of one's identity.
Nina Romić made her musical debut with the album "Daljine" in 2010, and with her second album "Ptice," she garnered critical acclaim throughout Croatia and the region, topping many music achievement lists in 2012. This was followed by the critically acclaimed and well-received albums "Stablo" in 2014, which received a prestigious "IMPALA" nomination for best European album, and "Sloboda" in 2018.
Last year, the artist released the album "Jezero," a personal story about diving beneath the surface and finding one's own light. In addition to her own musical creation, Nina Romić has significantly contributed to the development of the Croatian singer-songwriter scene through various projects, notably Začarana Močvara, a program she has been leading for many years, which focuses on the affirmation of singer-songwriter music.
Joining Nina at the Barone Jazz Festival on Tuesday, July 2nd, will be Jelena Galić on bass, mandolin, and percussion, and Silvio Bočić on snare drum and cymbals.
TICKETS: Regular price 6€
The concert starts at 9 PM, and tickets priced at 6€ are available online via the Fortress of Culture website and at City Point.
