175th Anniversary of the Šibenik City Orchestra: Anniversary Concert on June 29th at St. Michael's Fortress!

The Šibenik City Orchestra will once again take the stage at St. Michael's Fortress this year! This concert spectacle, which sells out every summer in record time, will be held on June 29th. It is a celebratory concert marking the 175th anniversary of the Šibenik City Orchestra!

Under the baton of Damir Marušić, the orchestra will be joined by guest soloists, among them the brilliant Elis Lovrić, whose voice the audience had the opportunity to enjoy last year at Barone Fortress. In addition to Elis, the microphone will be taken also by Tome Šanić, Vojo Marković, Antonio Perina, as well as many instrumental soloists.

The City Orchestra will present a selection of their work since the last concert under the stars, showcasing new arrangements and musical collaborations, along with a few surprises for the audience.

The Šibenik City Orchestra is the oldest cultural institution in Šibenik, with a tradition spanning 175 years! The Šibenik Folk Music performs live only twice a year, so their performance at St. Michael's Fortress has become one of the most anticipated events of the summer concert season.

Tickets priced €15 are available starting today, June 9th, through the Eventim system, exclusively for Mastercard® cardholders for the first 24 hours. Everyone else can purchase their tickets from Saturday, June 10th at noon, through the Eventim system and at the City Point of the Šibenik Fortress where members of the Friends Club can avail special discounts.
