Chet Faker’s Croatian Debut: July 28 at St. Michael’s Fortress
One of the most intriguing names on the contemporary global music scene, Australian singer-songwriter Chet Faker, is coming to Croatia for the very first time. On July 28, he will perform in the intimate setting of St. Michael’s Fortress in Šibenik, presenting his signature sound—a blend of electronic music, soul, and R&B.
He first gained international attention in 2011 with his impressive cover of Blackstreet’s hit No Diggity, followed by the acclaimed Lockjaw EP in collaboration with Flume and his platinum debut album Built On Glass (2014), which earned him numerous prestigious ARIA Awards and cemented his status on the global music scene.
Over the years, Faker has built a rich discography, including the 2021 album Hotel Surrender and releases under his real name, Nick Murphy. He has performed on some of the world’s biggest stages and festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, and Lollapalooza, alongside numerous sold-out solo shows.
His new album A Love For Strangers will be released on February 13, 2026, accompanied by a world tour of the same name, with St. Michael’s Fortress joining the list of selected venues this summer. For the first time, local audiences will have the chance to experience Chet Faker live in Croatia, organized by Tvrđava kulture Šibenik.
The afterparty will be led by Kristijan Molnar – one of the most recognizable and beloved figures on Belgrade's electronic music scene.
Renowned for his ability to create an electrifying atmosphere that keeps dancefloors moving until the early hours, Kristijan has earned widespread recognition through his unpredictable and unforgettable DJ sets. Over the years, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Jeff Mills, Dixon, Red Axes, Tale Of Us, Black Coffee, Jimi Jules, and many others.
His international reputation continues to grow through standout performances across Europe and beyond, while his Gather Together project celebrates the spirit of togetherness—creating lasting memories that resonate long after the night comes to an end and offering audiences a truly unique musical experience.
